A bout Rabbi Penn
Rabbi Penn worked at the Ramaz School in NYC for 6 years. The final 2 years as the assistant Headmaster. He is now in his 4th year at Yavneh Academy in Paramus NJ serving as the Judaic Studies Assistant Principal for grades 1- 5. Rabbi Penn taught classes in 3rd – 11th grade over the course of his educational career, keeping a keen focus on the use of educational technology in the classroom. Rabbi Penn brought smart boards to his current school and is very involved in pushing the educational technology envelope.
The past few years Rabbi Penn has been working towards making the school more connected internally by increasing utilization of the Schools-On-I-Net software, working more closely with the SOIN team on projects such as 1st and 2nd grade SOIN Report Cards, and developing target goals for the use of our most recent endeavor, Google Apps for Education. Rabbi Penn serves as the project manager of the program to introduce and educate the faculty and staff on the wide range of tools Google Apps and SOIN have at our finger tips. |
